The Department of Entomology at Cornell University is seeking to hire a new faculty member in the area of “Insect Biodiversity and Conservation” (at the Assistant Professor level). We are particularly interested in candidates who work at the intersection of arthropod biodiversity and global change ecology and who use phylogenetic methods, biodiversity informatics, spatial modeling, biogeography, or trait-based organismal biology. This search is part of a broader initiative to hire five faculty focused on biodiversity and conservation across biological, environmental, social, and computational sciences.
