日本昆蟲學會（ESJ）、韓國昆蟲學會（ESK）及台灣昆蟲學會（TES）將於日本昆蟲學會第86屆年會期間，共同舉辦「International Symposium of Entomology in East Asia 2026」。
日本昆蟲學會與韓國昆蟲學會自2018年簽訂合作協議以來，已輪流舉辦三次聯合研討會，促進雙方會員交流。2024年，台灣昆蟲學會亦於日本京都舉行的第27屆國際昆蟲學大會（ICE2024）中，舉辦「Forum for Taiwanese and Japanese Entomologists」，促進台日昆蟲學界的學術交流與對話。延續以上交流成果，本次聯合研討會進一步結合台、日、韓三方學會，希望能強化合作、促進學術交流與建立人脈網絡，並提升東亞昆蟲學研究的國際能見度。
本次研討會以 “Exploring Insect Diversity in East Asia through Field Studies, Data Analysis, and Global Partnerships”為主題，邀請台、日、韓學者分享研究成果。台灣昆蟲學會由國立屏東科技大學吳立心老師代表演講；目前於日本北海道大學攻讀博士學位的陳玄樸亦受邀擔任講者。
研討會除實體舉行外，同時提供 Zoom Webinar 線上直播，歡迎有興趣的會員事先報名參與。
